Lodestar CL4 BM
Lodestar CL4 BM is a conductor mounted fault indicator which is used in medium voltage power distribuon networks. Detects a short circuit and ground faults.
Lodestar CL4 BM is mounted on the overhead phase conductor. The live-line installation is possible using a standard hotstick tool.
Indicators communicate with one CL4 BM device via Bluetooth radio signal, then CL4 BM communicates by GSM with KOMORSAN and transmits data to any SCADA-System via IEC 60870-5-104.
A current sensor in Lodestar CL4 BM continuously measures the phase current. When the current in the phase exceeds a preset threshold (PtP or PtG) the fault is indicated by LEDs flashing, which provides 360 degrees visibility.
Lodestar CL4 BM benefits:
- Minimum fault sensing 4 A.
- Visual indication up to 100 м (day), up to 500 м (night).
- Does not require a separate data transmission unit.
- Sending SMS and e-mail about network events to up to 5 different subscribers.
- Can be setting by mobile APP or SCADA .
- Easy to install, set and use.
